Shared cPanel Hosting

Shared hosting is a way for you to split the costs of a full server with other users who don't necessarily need a fully dedicated server. This is the best way to start out if your website is expected to be small in the beginning, all while giving you the flexibility to grow later down the road. All newcomers are encouraged to start off with shared hosting. Unless you have a developer that tells you a physical server is absolutely required, there's no need for anything else.

The only differences between our shared hosting plans are the disk space allowed per tier. Because of this, the only resource that will change is the available disk space your account may utilize. Upgrades take a mere few seconds, and can be performed through the client area without need for our assistance. The only time there will be an issue with disk space changes is if you're trying to downgrade and you're using more space than the plan you're trying to switch to. We offer free consultation on file clean up.

All of our servers run CloudLinux with PHP Selector. We will support all secure PHP versions made available by CloudLinux, and all PHP extensions. If you find a PHP version available through CloudLinux but it's not available through our services, all you need to do is ask and it will be included in our weekly maintenance. Something like this will likely already have been considered, so in most cases you don't need to request this.

Currently, we support PHP versions 4.4, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 7.0, 7.1, and 7.2.

We do not support PHP versions older than 4.4.

For the year of 2017, we've experienced two short reboots for our entire networks to apply necessary patches. This resulted in 30 seconds of downtime for each server since everything here has a level of virtualization. There was an unexpected outage during the summer which was addressed and resolved in about 8 minutes. Rounding up to the nearest minute, this is about 10 minutes of downtime for 2017. This is roughly 99.998% of total uptime. We cannot predict when an outage will occur, but we can guarantee that all issues will be addressed promptly and through multiple mediums of communication. We strive for 99.99% uptime. It's safe to expect your website to be up 99.99% of the time, with the occasional update and reboot within our networks.

Multi Hosting is the same as Shared Hosting, except with two small differences. First, you'll have access to WHM, a sign on that allows you to manage multiple cPanel accounts through a unified interface. WHM provides all the management functions you need to create packages, quickly make changes without having to login to cPanel, and other essential tools. Second, you can create multiple cPanel accounts. This is essential for isolating your websites from one another. Not only is this secure, but also allows you to take advantage of resources that would otherwise be limited if all websites were under a single account. It's important to point out that we do not oversell our system resources. When a server hits a certain allotment that was allocated, we stop selling on that server and provision a new one. Normally, servers are prepared days in advance when nearing resource limits, so you'll never have to worry about a server becoming overloaded.

Absolutely, yes! In fact, we encourage it! If you're a reseller, we want you to be successful. Your customers are on our servers, so it's only fitting that we aid in helping them with their general questions and provide direction on how to perform tasks in cPanel. The level of support we provide is only basic, you'll still need to assist your clients in various tasks outside the scope of end-user support. What support will be provided to your customers is covered in our support policy. In a nutshell though, it's purely generic and escalations will have to be handled by you. Semi Dedicated Hosting is just a fancy way of saying Shared Hosting, except the resources you're given under your account can only beused by you, nobody else. It's a great stepping stone right before jumping on a dedicated server, and we always encourage users to choose a semi dedicated service first before shopping for a full bare metal server. Unless recommended by a developer, or if you know for sure that you must be on a dedicated server, consider our semi dedicated plans first. They're much more cost effective and easier to maintain.

Upgrading your plan is as easy as clicking Upgrade within our client area, and paying your generated invoice. Downgrades are just as easy, but if you're using more storage than what's allowed in the lower plan, you will need to clean up some files or you won't be able to downgrade.
